How to apply to be a council apprentice

If you are interested in becoming a council apprentice you will need to register on our apprentice recruitment system.

When you register you will be able to check if you have the right qualifications to apply. If you do, you will then take a series of on-line tests – the tests cover basic skills, learning styles and personality.

We will use the answers to the questions to select people to attend a recruitment workshop on either 23 or 28 April . Please make sure that you are available for both days (you will be told the chosen date as soon as possible). Successful candidates will get more details before the workshop.

When answering the question which asks: “are you applying for a specific vacancy?” Please quote reference number: AP2015

Once you have registered, you will need to complete all your online assessments by the closing date of Friday, 10 April 2015.

If you have questions about becoming a council apprentice you can call Barbara Shakespeare or Rachel O’Dwyer.
