Do you have a passion for arts and crafts, and a creative edge you would like to show to the world? Have you made something you want to showcase and sell? Or, are you looking for a unique gift or peice of art? Then the new monthly art and crafts fair at Huddersfield Art Gallery is just right for you!

The inaugural Creative Kirklees Art and Crafts Fair runs from 11am to 3:30pm on 25 April, giving local artists, makers and designers the opportunity to showcase their work, and offering visitors the chance to purchase unique handmade gifts and artwork.

Everyone is welcome at the art and craft fairs, regardless of age or creative discipline. Whether you are an artist working in traditional media or someone with crafty fingertips, a designer working on the cutting edge of fashion or a maker of handcrafted fixtures and fittings for the home, then we’d love to hear from you.

Mark Milnes, Galleries Manager, says “We want to make these small events friendly and accessible to all. The fair is held in a beautiful gallery setting and offers artists the opportunity to talk about their work with visitors, and to sell their unique creations.”

Contact Mark Milnes at mark.milnes@kirklees.gov.uk for more details about how to make a submission and be part of the exciting new arts and crafts fairs.

Further art fairs are planned at Huddersfield Art Gallery on 23 May, 27 June, 25 July, 22 August and 26 September at Huddersfield Art Gallery.
