Vintage Crafts at Bagshaw Museum

Give your kids the chance to have a go at crafts from the past at Bagshaw Museum, Batley, on Tuesday, 26 May, 12 noon to 4pm.

Crafts include rag rugging, making badges and brooches and making and dressing a Victorian-style paper doll.

The crafts are suitable for children aged eight years and over; the cost is £1 per child. No booking necessary.

Vintage day in Batley

If you are looking for something different get your family down to Batley Market Place for a celebration of everything vintage on Saturday, 30 May.

There will be a high quality vintage market, classic vehicles, ration book cooking demonstrations. Live music and dancing.

Bring a tin to get in

It is free to attend, but if you are planning on attending any workshops or activities please bring a can of something from your cupboard for the Batley Food Bank – you’ll still be able to take part without, but it would be appreciated.
