Bush babies ?

Bush babies are being introduced into Oakwell Hall Country Park, Birstall, this summer – but not the furry variety.

These bush babies will be under-5s having a fun introduction to the outdoors through environmental-themed activities.

They will be making stick men, building kites and looking for creatures as well as enjoying other crafts, games and stories.

This is the first time the park have run environmental activities for under-5s – but they believe you are never too young to start learning about and enjoying the natural world.

The sessions, take place from 10am to 11.30am on Mondays throughout July and August.

The first session takes place on Monday 27 July.

Each session costs £3 per child the price includes a snack and drink.
