Chance to win £6000
The clock is ticking! Kirklees residents have just two weeks left to scoop £6000 as part of a council tax promotion run by the Bacs Payment Schemes Limited (Bacs), the not-for-profit organisation behind Direct Debit in the UK.
We’ve teamed up with three other Yorkshire local authorities (Bradford, Calderdale and Doncaster) to offer our residents a chance to win the £6000 prize, simply for paying their council tax by Direct Debit.
To be in with a chance of winning the £6000 prize, you need to register to pay your council tax bill by Direct Debit before 5pm on 31 July 2015, either by signing-up to Direct Debit online at www.kirklees.gov.uk/directdebit or calling 01484 414900 to arrange over the phone.
If you already pay their council tax by Direct Debit you will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
Dawneth Perry, Bacs’ local authority specialist said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for one lucky Kirklees resident to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize of £6000.
“Direct Debit can save council tax payers time, help with budgeting and also gives peace of mind that payments won’t be missed. At the same time, everyone switching to pay by Direct Debit will be helping their local council to save time and money, too.”
