concert season

The concert season is once again upon us and the first concert features Borough Organist Gordon Stewart who celebrates the start of his 25th season on the pedals.

The concert takes place at 1pm, on 7 September at Huddersfield Town Hall

Gordon will launch the ever popular Kirklees Concert Season with a performance to mark the 150th anniversary of two British organist composers: Alfred Hollins and Edwin Lemare.

Gordon has entertained audiences young and old, and has a dedicated following of regular lunchtime concert goers. Fans often comment on how wonderfully friendly, safe and sociable these daytime events are.

With competitively priced lunches available from 11.30am, it’s a perfect opportunity for you to enjoy a bite to eat and a chat, before sitting back and enjoying the uplifting musical programmes on offer.

How to book concert season tickets

As ever, our lunch time concerts are very well priced at only £5.50 each (£4 for concessions).

You can book tickets by calling us on 01484 223200 or by visiting our Kirklees Town Hall’s webpage
