Telling tales – Tolson Museum’s tea, cake and story afternoons are back

Fancy a cuppa and a slice?

Why not join the Friends of Tolson Museum ‘Tea & Cake’ afternoon on Wednesday, 14 October?

The meetings are ever growing in popularity with past speakers talking about choosing a good read for your holiday, how to write a book and engaging stories about seaside memories and world war one

The next planned afternoon has guest speaker, local community event organiser Sue Starr who will be talking to you about the Colne Valley Museum as well as life in the Colne Valley.

The event starts at 2pm and is free to attend.

‘Tea & Cake’ afternoons are held on the second Wednesday of every month at Tolson Museum in Ravensknowle Park on Wakefield Road. They are an opportunity for you to get to know more about the Friends group, the museum and for you to enjoy a range of talks and activities.
