Hate Crime Awareness Week

Stopping Hate Crime

We are in partnership with West Yorkshire Police, HuGG, Cloverleaf Advocacy and the Kirklees Involvement Network and are marking Hate Crime Awareness Week with a series of themed roadshows across our area.

Our main message is that hate crime does happen locally and that it isn’t acceptable. By encouraging people to be more confident in reporting homophobia, racism, disablism, transphobia and faith/religion hate crimes we believe that we can significantly reduce and even stop these senseless crimes from taking place.

Anyone who has experienced hate crime is advised to contact the Police on 101.
