Exterminate! -timey-wimey tales and creative writing workshops

Timey-wimey tales invites young Sci-Fi lovers and wannabee writers for a treat this half term. Our libraries are holding some special creative writing workshops with Dr Who magazine co-editor Mark Wright.

The workshop is for children aged 7 to 12 years old and will give budding whovians a chance to create their own ‘out of this world’ stories and characters with support from Dr Who expert Mark.

This is one of many events part of Sci-Fest Yorkshire 2015 – a brand new science fiction festival organised by Kirklees Libraries, Kirklees Museums and Galleries, and the University of Huddersfield.

Sessions last an hour and a half take place on Friday 30th October 2015. The morning session is at Greenwood Centre Library in Ravensthorpe and starts at 11am, the afternoon session is at 2.30pm at Huddersfield Library.

Sessions cost £2 per child.
