Tolson holds remembranceThe Friend’s of Tolson Museum are inviting you to a Remembrance Day Service at the Tolson Museum Heritage Memorial Garden on Wednesday, 11 November, starting at 10.45am.

The ‘Last Post’ being played at 11am. Pupils from Netherhall Junior School will read poems as part of the service.

The garden behind the museum in Ravensknowle Park on Wakefield Road, Huddersfield, commemorates the service men and women who have lost their lives since the end of World War II. The garden is designed to be a place of tranquility and contemplation.

It was created last year in a project by the Friends of Tolson and Ravensknowle and was made possible thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant and local contributions.
