Uncover a cryptic clue in Huddersfield Library
Stuck on a puzzle? Feeling the anger in a crossword? Need some help to work things out? Not got a clue?
Huddersfield reference library could be the place for you. Hardly a day goes by without an avid puzzler dropping by for some help to answer a particularly tricky crossword clue.
The dedicated team of expert staff are always happy to help with any query. They are very good at helping with general knowledge crossword questions, and whilst cryptic ones are far harder – they are always willing to give them a try.
But with so many people dropping in to solve those elusive clues, there is sure to be someone who can help. In fact it is becoming something of a club, and a great place to drop by and have a natter with other puzzlers.
Rainbow Charity Puzzles
One of the most popular puzzles is the Rainbow Charity Puzzle – these puzzles are produced twice a year with 100 clues on a different theme each time.
They cost just £1 to enter and the proceeds from each competition are donated to a different charity. The most recent puzzle will raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society (Reg Charity No. 296645).
Each puzzle follows the same lines as a cryptic crossword.
All you have to do to see the rules and obtain your entry form is to download the puzzle.
The latest puzzle runs until 30 November 2015.
