Concert season is back at our town halls

Concert Season

The Chagall Piano Trio, 20 January, 12.30pm, Dewsbury Town Hall

Blow away the winter blues with some moving classical music as our concert season returns courtesy of Tchaikovsky’s piano trio in A-Minor. Although Tchaikovsky is one of the most popular of all composers, famous for his ballets, overtures and symphonies, his chamber works are less regularly heard.

In this concert his magnificent Piano Trio in A-Minor will be the main work – a rare opportunity to hear one of the real masterpieces of the repertoire.

Regular lunchtime concert goers comment on how wonderfully friendly, safe and sociable these daytime events are, and with competitively priced lunches available from 11.30am, it’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy a bite to eat before sitting back
and enjoying the musical programmes on offer.

The concert takes place at 12.30pm on 20 January at Dewsbury Town Hall.

Daniel Moult, 25 January, 1pm, Huddersfield Town Hall

Music lovers are invited to join Concert Season favourite Daniel Moult at Huddersfield Town Hall on Monday 25 January at 1pm.

Daniel’s programme includes several works which have not appeared in the series before, as well as core repertoire pieces, Mendelssohn’s Sixth Sonata and the ever-popular last movement from Vierne’s First Symphony.

You can enjoy a competitively priced lunch from 11.30am, before sitting back and enjoying the musical programme on offer.
