Fundraising fun at Kirkgate Buildings
Council workers from our contracts and monitoring team at Kirkgate Buildings in Huddersfield have been fundraising for three charities this year.
They raised a grand total of £1731.00 – all through fun activities such as a coffee morning with cake sale, a static bike challenge, granny crochet, raffle and a very popular and very public male leg waxing session.
Who benefited from the fundraising?
Each of the 3 charities will each receive equal amounts of £577.00. The Charities are Huddersfield based Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, UK-wide charity Headway – that works to improve life after brain injury, and the White Knights – volunteers on motorbikes who provide a Free ‘Out of Hours’ Transportation Service to the NHS and Hospices throughout Yorkshire.
The group have been doing the fundraising events for 4 years and in total have raised £4451.02
