Sky Ride Kirklees – first ride of the season
Did Tour de Yorkshire inspire you? Looking for an easy ride to get you back on your bike? Why not join Sky Ride’s first ride of the season?
The ride takes place on Sunday 8 May 2016 from Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury. It will be an easy ride along the greenway, the river and he canal paths to the south of Dewsbury town centre.
The ride starts at 10am and sets off from the Park Café off Heckmondwike Road (WF13 2SG).
This ride is perfect for anyone who hasn’t cycled for a while and is looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle. It will also be a great confidence builder, and provide a fun way to encourage friends or kids to start riding.

The ride is on a traffic-free route, and will take about 1 hour at a gentle pace, it is also suitable for all ages and abilities.

Riders are encourages to explore the park after the ride – with an adventure playground, museum and ornamental lake there is plenty to see and do.
