Summer at Oakwell photographic competition

Calling all amateur Togs, (that’s slang for photographers don’t you know!). If you are handy with a camera, can take a great photo, and fancy a chance to win an afternoon tea… read on.
The Friend’s of Oakwell Hall and Country Park are looking for an image that captures the beauty of this 16th Century Hall and the surrounding park.
How to enter
The ‘Summer at Oakwell’ is open to amateur photographers of all ages.
Take a trip down to Oakwell and pick up the competition guidance notes from the hall or the visitor information centre shop.
Get your camera out and capture the perfect picture. With the beautiful hall, acres of country park and stunning gardens there is plenty to choose from.
Print up to 3 photos out in colour or black and white, they can be up to A4 in size.
Hand your photo into the hall or visitor centre by Friday, 16 September, at 5pm.
The prizes
the winner will receive:
- Two tickets for the ‘Oakwell at Night’ event in November
- Afternoon tea for two at the Oak Tree Cafe
- A year’s membership of the Friends of Oakwell Hall, which includes free entry to the Hall for 12 months.
The winning entries will be exhibited in the Park’s Oak Tree Cafe.
