Health Scrutiny Committee to discuss A&E consultation report
Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Groups have published a consultation report. The report is on the proposed future arrangements for hospital and community health services.
The Calderdale and Kirklees Joint Health Scrutiny Committee will meet on 7 September 2016 to talk about the results of the consultation.
The Calderdale and Kirklees Joint Health Scrutiny Committee is responsible for examining the CCG proposals.
At the meeting the Committee will consider what the public have said about the proposals. They will also check that the consultation exercise is compliant with NHS guidance.
The Committee will also hear from Healthwatch Kirklees about what the public has told them during the consultation.
The Joint Committee arranged two drop-in sessions in July. The sessions gave people a chance to share their views on the proposed changes. The committee will look at the main themes and issues from the drop-in sessions. They will also consider the submissions received during their own review of the proposals.
The Joint Committee will use the public’s views to inform any recommendations it makes to the CCGs. The CCG plans to consider those recommendations when they meet in October.
You are welcome to attend the Joint Scrutiny Committee meeting. The meeting starts at 3:30 pm in the Council Chamber, Huddersfield Town Hall
