Hallowe’en fun at Oakwell
There is lots’ going on at Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall this October half term, and its all pretty spooky.
To celebrate Hallowe’en there will be a spooky trail around the country park. To take part your children can pick up a trail sheet for 50p, they can then hunt for creepy clues. If they return their sheet to the visitor centre they will to receive a small prize.
Our Hallowe’en trail runs from Monday 24 to Friday 28 October, so why not pop down.
On Tuesday, 25 October, your Bush Babies can enjoy a Hallowe’en Hoot. There’ll be fun environmental-themed activities for children under five. This will include storytelling, crafts and games.
The bush babies activities is taking place from 10am to 11.30am and places must be booked in advance (children must be accompanied). This activity costs £3 per child.
Then on Bushcraft Wednesday, 26 October, over 5s can build spooky shelters between 10.30am and 12noon. These sessions only cost £5 per child. However, youngsters aged eight and under must be accompanied.
