Coding, dinosaurs and robots…library events this May half term
Kirklees Libraries have got some exciting events for young people this May Half-Term, and best of all they are all free! Entertain the kids with coding, building robots and finding dinosaurs. And whilst you’re there why not let them choose a few books to borrow for bedtime stories or reading on their own.
Learn how to code and create using a micro:bit – a tiny computer you can control. We’ll show you the basics you’ll need to turn a micro:bit into 2-player game! Micro:bits are provided – bring your library card if you’d like to take one home with you to continue inventing. Target age 7 – 13, we have sessions in several different Kirklees libraries from 30 May to 2 June 2017.
