Another lucky winner with My Kirklees Account
We’ve given out a second iPad as part of our campaign to encourage more people to sign up for a My Kirklees Account.
The lucky winner was Hadrian Frankland from Skelmanthorpe, who was automatically entered into a free prize draw after signing up for a My Kirklees Account. Cllr Musarrat Khan used a random number generator to select the winner and Cllr Graham Turner presented the prize to Hadrian at Huddersfield Customer Service Centre on 14 February 2018.
Prize winner Hadrian Frankland was surprised to be told he’d won a brand new iPad, he said “I know it’s a cliché but I never win anything, so this prize was very welcome. I signed up for a My Kirklees Account to register my car for a tip permit, and I’ve also used it to request a bulky waste collection – so it’s a handy way to get council services all in one place.”
Over 13,000 people have registered for an account since its launch at the end of November. Now with just one password it is easy to access council tax, KNH rent and housing benefit accounts; people can also log in to check their bin collection dates, report a missed bin collection, and register their vehicle for a tip permit – and we’re adding new services all the time.
Look out for more competitions coming soon through your letterbox.
