An Afternoon of 17th Century Dance

Historic Oakwell Hall in Birstall will be brought to life on Sunday 13 May, with an afternoon of 17th Century dance.
During the 17th Century dancing had not only a great social importance, but could also carry great political importance as well.
A great opportunity to see a historic hall in use as it was in the 17th Century
The White Rose Early Dance Group will be doing demonstrations of dance from the period in which the Hall is set. The demonstrations will take place in the Great Hall of the Grade I listed Elizabethan manor house which is furnished as a family home of the 1690s.
How to book
Tickets should be purchased from the shop in the Visitor Centre courtyard, next to the car park at the top of Nova Lane.
The demonstrations will be between 12noon and 4pm. Normal Hall admission charges will apply:- adult £3.50, child £1 and families (two adults and up to four children) £8.
