Kirklees Additional Needs Register – help us support their future
The Kirklees Additional Needs Register is a list of children and young people (0-25) who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Although registration is voluntary, sign-up is an easy online form which over 200 people have already completed.
Why should I register?
The information you provide will give us a better understanding and a clearer picture of those who have special educational needs and disabilities in Kirklees. It will help us to plan and develop education, health and social care services to support our children and young people in the future.
All local authorities have a duty to maintain a register of children and young people (0-25 years) with special educational needs and/or disabilities in their area. In Kirklees this is known as the Additional Needs Register.
