Holmfirth Film Festival
Holmfirth Film Festival’s 2019 Christmas film show runs at Holmfirth Civic Hall, 20- 22 December. This year’s selection-box of screenings opens with Friday night and Saturday afternoon family films and Aardman animation, continues with a great Saturday night musical, and ends with a beautifully wrapped restoration for the grown-ups.
Make sure you leave space in the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and preparations to take a well-earned break, or to occupy the kids for a couple of hours at one of these great films.

Wheels on the Christmas Bus (Slaithwaite)
Grandy is a musical bus driver, when his passengers leave the bus he finds some lost property, including a comical goose! With a magic feather the children help Grandy create a winter surprise!
This show includes lots of enjoyable participation and is especially for young children and their families. Based on the popular The Wheels on the Bus rhyme, the snowy story is told with magic, live music, puppets, and songs.

Huddersfield Winter Festival
Huddersfield Live brings a little magic to Huddersfield by way of beautiful festive tipis adorning St George’s Square with a traditional bar, festive food and coffee area all surrounding a blazing open fire. There’s entertainment from local artists with live music, spoken word, open mic nights, theatre performances and networking events.

The 12 days of Christmas with the Hey Diddles
Join the Hey Diddles for their 8th Christmas Show at Moldgreen URC. The popular trio are back again this year with a show full of Christmas fun, action & Christmas songs.
The Hey Diddles are busy getting ready for Christmas but Poppy is struggling with her gift for Skye. Poppy has decided to write Skye a new version of the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’, Skye’s favourite song. But it’s proving tricky…can Sunny help? Will it be finished in time?
The show offers a lot of interaction with the children and engages them from the start, through action songs and children being asked to help keep Sunny from opening the big present before Christmas.

The Krumpus
