If your child is due to start at primary school or middle school in September this year, the deadline for applications is approaching fast.
When is the deadline?
Parents are strongly advised to make their application by the deadline of Wednesday January 15 as late applications can severely reduce the chances of getting a place at one of your preferred schools.

All applications need to be made online through the Kirklees Parent Portal and relate to children who are due to start in Reception class, or move from an infant school to a junior school, or move to a middle school.
What happens if you send an application after the deadline?
Please remember, applications received after the January 15 deadline will not be not considered until after all on-time applications have been processed.
