Positive COVID-19 cases at Huddersfield online retail company

Kirklees Council and Public Health England are working with Buy It Direct after eight of its office workers tested positive for COVID-19.
A statement on behalf of Kirklees Council, Public Health England and Buy It Direct:
Buy It Direct reported the cases to Public Health England and have sent all office staff home. Warehouse staff are continuing to operate under ongoing safety protocols in line with Government guidance. The eight people who tested positive are now recovering at home.
Public health officials are working with Buy It Direct and will advise on any further action that needs to be taken.
Anyone else who may have come into contact with the cases outside of work will be followed up by NHS Test and Trace – they may be advised to self-isolate for 14 days.
