Have your say on support for families – one week to go

We want to hear your views on the way children, young people and families are supported in Kirklees when they might need some additional help.

When does the survey close?

Our survey closes on Friday February 26, so please have your say on what matters to you, your family and your community.

What is the survey about?

The survey is about shaping future services across our communities to make sure people get the support they need in the ways that they need it.

Along with a wide range of local partners, the council has already made a lot of progress in developing an ‘Early Support’ offer. This is designed to help families at the earliest opportunity so that their needs don’t become more serious further down the line.

Now, we are taking the next steps in ensuring Early Support across Kirklees is the best it can be. It covers a vast array of services and an age range of pre-birth through to 19 years (or up to 25 years for people with special educational needs and/or disabilities), along with support for parents.

All responses will be taken into account before final proposals are drawn up for future Early Support.
