Help us tackle inequalities and improve services in Kirklees

Help shape local health and social care services in Kirklees

Residents in Kirklees, aged 16+, are invited to complete the CLiK (Current Living in Kirklees) survey to ensure appropriate public health and health and social care services are targeted where they are needed the most.

Once complete, you can enter a free prize draw or a chance to win £150 shopping vouchers!

What is the CLiK survey?

The CLiK survey has been commissioned and developed in partnership with Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the University of Huddersfield, Kirklees College and others to help understand health and social care, housing, employment and essentially, the quality of life of Kirklees residents.

Why should I complete the CLiK survey?

The previous survey, conducted in 2016, highlighted important statistics such as 1 in 5 people worried about money, many people said their house was not suitable for the needs of the household, older people (aged 65 and over) are less likely to have a self-reported mental health condition.

The collection of this data helped to identify and tackle inequalities and improve support and services delivered around housing, employability, wellbeing, mental health and tackling loneliness. It is hoped that this 2021 data will help in our understanding in how we recover at a local level from the COVID-19 pandemic.

How to take part

Some residents have been chosen at random to receive a copy of the survey in the post. Unlike previous years, anyone, aged 16+ can complete the survey online. Responses are anonymous and completely confidential.

Need help to complete the survey?

You can ask someone to help you complete the survey or you can help others if they need support. You can also request copies in large print, audio and alternative languages. Please call the helpline number 0800 073 0348.
