Bringing history back to life: a once-glorious Grade II-listed historical building, left derelict, is well on its way to it’s former glory

The George Hotel was, for a while, neglected and not looking its best – we have been working to change that! The building wrap is down and offering a glimpse at the extensive restoration work that has been done on the roof, stonework and windows. The scaffolding will be coming down over the next few weeks, leaving the building once again standing proud as one of the flagship buildings in St. George’s Square.
Phase two of the project, the external restoration works, is almost finished. We will then be ready to start phase three to get the building ready for the Radisson RED fit out.
