Term dates for Kirklees community and voluntary schools have been agreed for 2020/21.
As with the 2019/20 dates, we’ve worked hard to make sure holidays line up with neighbouring areas wherever possible.
Below are the main term dates but please remember that schools will set their own training dates on top of these, so always check the specific dates for your child’s school before booking anything. Academies or own admission authority schools may also differ.
Autumn Term
Begins: Monday 7 September 2020, to Friday 18 December 2020
Half Term: Monday 26 October 2020, to Friday 30 October 2020
Christmas break: Monday 21 December 2020, to Friday 1 January 2021
Spring Term
Begins: Monday 4 January 2021, to Friday 26 March 2021
Half Term: Monday 15 February 2021, to Friday 19 February 2021
Easter break: Monday 29 March 2021, to Friday 9 April 2021
Summer Term
Begins: Monday 12 April 2021, to Monday 26 July 2021
Half Term: Monday 31 May 2021, to Friday 4 June 2021
Summer holiday begins: Tuesday 27 July 2021
