Get Apprenticeship Read- Kirklees College University 19 July 1-4.30 pm

Are you considering applying for an Apprenticeship in the future and want to increase your chance of success? Apprenticeships are becoming increasingly more popular, with a huge variety of opportunities available, so how do you find out about them, apply for them and what should you be doing to increase your chances of success.

We are hosting an event to answer these questions and provide additional support to anyone considering applying for an apprenticeship role.

Kirklees College, Huddersfield Centre, Waterfront Quarter, Manchester Road, Huddersfield, HD1 3LD

What is the event?

Our Get Apprenticeship Ready event aims to give people the necessary knowledge and skills to confidently apply for their role of choice.

You will be able to get support from a dedicated apprenticeship team on available qualifications, training providers and course requirements, whilst being able to get support in other areas such as CV writing, application support and interview techniques.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be a series of short talks given by apprenticeship specialists, industry professions and support services on how to manage the application process and expectations from candidates, together with tips for success. Confirmed speakers so far include Kirklees Council, The University of Huddersfield, Kirklees College and Syngenta.

There is no need to pre-book and the event opens to attendees at 1pm, with the first talk taking place at 1.30pm.
