About Refugee Week
Refugee Week was founded in 1998 in the UK and is held every year around World Refugee Day on the 20 June.
It’s the world’s largest arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. It aims to provide an important opportunity for asylum seekers and refugees to be seen, listened to and valued.
