We are inviting suggestions to name a new street in Birkenshaw.
The newly named street will serve the residential development of Land Off, Croft Street, Birkenshaw, BD11 2HT.
What is in a name?
Successful entries are ones that have local connotations, so think about anything connected to natural surroundings, the area’s industrial, cultural or historical heritage.
To be considered, names should not match or closely resemble existing street names in the area or be named after a person living or who has lived in the recent past.
Suggestions must be submitted before 3 June 2026 using reference number 2026/00324N.
