How many people have signed up for a My Kirklees Account?
Over half of householders in Kirklees are now using My Kirklees Account, but we want even more people to have 24/7 online access to our most popular services.
Since the launch of My Kirklees Account in November 2017 over 130,000 accounts have been created across Kirklees. The highest take up have been In the Denby Dale and Holme Valley South wards where 71% of households have an account. The lowest take up has been in the Newsome ward with 46%.
What are the benefits of a My Kirklees Account?
Our latest campaign encourages people to sign up for paperless billing via My Kirklees Account to access their annual Council Tax bill online. We currently post out 180,000 annual Council Tax statements as well as payment reminders, so the more people that sign up for paperless billing, the more we can save on postage costs.
We’re also incentivising people to sign up for a My Kirklees Account and add their KNH rent account and housing benefits account so more people have information at their fingertips whilst reducing calls and visits to Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and Kirklees Council customer service centres.
