Santa in The Hall
Join us in Oakwell Hall making decorations and treats then enjoy a festive story and photo opportunity with Father Christmas. Children must be accompanied, suitable for age 3+.
When? Friday 16 December, Session 1 – 5:30pm, Session 2- 6:30pm

The Orchestra of Opera North: The Nutcracker & The Snowman
The excitement of Christmas comes early to Kirklees with a live orchestral soundtrack screening of the BAFTA award- winning classic The Snowman, including the unforgettable ‘Walking in the Air’ sung by a member of the Opera North Youth Ensemble.

Santa’s Grotto
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Santa Claus is coming, giving you and your family the opportunity to meet Santa at our magical grotto. Whether you’re on the naughty or nice list, come along and join in the Christmas festivities, meet Santa Claus and experience the magic of Christmas.

Byram Arcade Craft Fair
The Byram Arcade Craft Fair on the second Sunday of every month 10am -4pm. Find beautiful unique handmade gifts locally made by our favourite local Crafters, Artists, and makers. Also open Arcade coffee and food, and Crafty Praxis Yarn shop

Santa is coming back to Castle Hill!
Santa will be sat at the top of the tower in a special grotto with a fully decorated Yule tree to mark the joint celebration of Christmas and Winter Solstice, with sweets for children if parents’ consent.
When? 17 and 18 December between 11am and 3pm.
Where? The Tower at Castle Hill
Cost? £2.20 for adults, 60p for children and £4.40 for families (2 adults and 2 children). Free for Kirklees Passport holders.
