Local Offer drop-in sessions – come and join us
Are you a parent or carer of a child with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)?
Due to the success of our previous Local Offer drop-ins at Kirklees libraries, we have arranged new dates over the next few months – come and join us to find out more about SEND activities, support and services.
Our team will be on hand to provide all the details you need about support for children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs, plus their families.
Don’t miss out. Anyone can call in to hear about the Kirklees Local Offer,
Cllr Carole Pattison, Cabinet member for Learning, Aspiration and Communities, said:
“It was great to hear such positive feedback about the recent Local Offer drop-in sessions. I’m so pleased that we are continuing to go out into our communities and chat to residents.
“The Local Offer is a fantastic resource which we are keen to share with our families. It helps some of our most vulnerable children and is one of the ways we are transforming SEND provision across Kirklees.”
Cllr Viv Kendrick, Cabinet member for Children, said:
“Supporting children and young people to be happy and to achieve is key to ensuring they get the best possible start.
