Kirklees Local Offer – share your views!
The Local Offer is our fantastic one-stop-shop for everything about Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Kirklees.
The website brings together support and services for children and young people with SEND, plus their families, and is trusted by thousands of people across the district.
We are always looking to develop the Local Offer and make it even better – and you can help us to shape those changes.
Take part in our quick and easy survey, called ‘Has the Local Offer helped you?’, so we continue providing SEND information in the ways you want it the most.
Working with our partners, the council is doing a vast amount of work to transform SEND support in Kirklees and help all of our children and young people to fulfil their potential.
The Local Offer includes sections for parents and carers, young people and professionals. It also has an events calendar and lots of details about local activities.
In creating the Local Offer, the council worked closely with PCAN (Parent of Children with Additional Needs), KIAS (Kirklees Information Advice and Support), plus parents and carers, children and a range of professionals.
