Turf cutting marks the start of new council housing in Batley
Councillors rolled up their sleeves to break the turf on a new council housing development in Batley. Councillor Cathy Scott, Cabinet Member for Housing and Democracy, joined Batley East ward members Councillor Mahmood Akhtar, Councillor Fazila Loonat, and Councillor Habiban Zaman as contractors started work.
