Tolson Guided Tours
A new series of monthly guided tours of Tolson Museum in Huddersfield starts on Sunday, 17 February.
What happens on the tour?
The free tours of the museum in Ravensknowle Park on Wakefield Road tell the fascinating history of the Victorian mansion which was built in the late 1850s and later gifted to the town in memory of two young men killed in the First World War. They also reveal more about the people who once lived and worked there.
When do they start?
Tours start at 1pm and 2.30pm and last approximately 45 minutes. Places are limited and should be booked on the day at the reception desk of the museum.
The next tours will be on Sunday, 24 March. Also, groups are able to book their own guided tour by contacting the museum.
