Love Machine

Love Machine is a fun up-tempo show featuring the greatest love related songs of all time. Acclaimed lead vocalists share the love through the magical decades of popular music.
Starting way back to the magical American Songbook with the likes of Cole Porter’s classic “Under My Skin” rocking the 50’s as they ask “Why Do Fools Fall In Love” to 60’s pop and Motown there “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and then it’s party time with “Hot Stuff” from the disco era and beyond.

Coffee Morning at Kirkwood

Coffee Mornings at Kirkwood give you the perfect excuse to relax and unwind with a cuppa and enjoy different entertainment each month.
It’s also an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the vital work of the Hospice.
If you are interested in volunteering or helping the Hospice in some way, their friendly Fundraising Team are also on hand to let you know how you can get involved.

Disabled Access Day event: The Bibliotherapy Experience

Experience the fun and creativity of a Bibliotherapy session with expert practitioner Julie Walker as part of Disabled Access Day. Suitable for all levels.
Bibliotherapy is the use of poetry, fiction, song lyrics – the written word – to positively enhance mental health and wellbeing. This taster session will help you to understand how bibliotherapy works through experiencing an interactive and enjoyable session facilitated by Julie Walker, bibliotherapist and CEO of Words for Wellbeing.
Coffee/tea and pastries will be served at the start of the event.

Spring Voices Concert: Denby Dale Ladies and New Mill Male Voice Choirs

Denby Dale Ladies and New Mill Male Voice Choirs will be performing a varied musical programme.

British Science Week event

At this event there will be lots of science and tech themed activities for children and families. Make balloon rockets, try out their green screen activity, take a virtual reality tour of the international space station, try some coding tasks and borrow one of our new microbits.This is all included at this fantastic event!
