Kirklees Autism Show 2019

On the 1 May, we are holding our fifth annual Kirklees Autism Show. The aim of the event is to put people in touch with organisations that can help them, as well as raising awareness of autism and helping to create more understanding. This event is free.
What will the event offer?
The event will offer you the opportunity to speak to professionals and find out more about things that are important to people on the autism spectrum, such as employment, housing, leisure activities, diagnosis, activities, education and much more.
When and where is the event?
This year the event is funded in partnership with South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust and is being held at the Textile Centre of Excellence in Huddersfield on Wednesday, 1 May 2019 from 10am-3pm.
What will happen on the day?
You will be able to find out about local autism and other SEN support groups, activity providers, national autism charities and volunteering opportunities.
There will be talks throughout the day from the view point of those who live with Autism and professionals. Some talks proved to be very popular last year and was sold out on the day, if you would like to grab yourself an advanced ticket for some of the talks then please click on the link below, but don’t worry if you forget as some tickets will be held back to book on the day on a first come basis. Remember to book this main event too.
