Huddersfield University Big Band

The University Big Band is delighted to be performing at the LBT once again for an evening of swinging jazz and big band music.

Whether it be Ellington’s Portrait of Louis Armstrong, Bob Mintzer’s Latin Dance or some classic vocal charts from the Great American Songbook.

There will be something for everyone as the students from the University dazzle the loyal local audience with their talents.

Easter @ Pit 2019

At the National Coal Mining Museum, they have got great ideas for all the family this Easter!

Join them at the Museum for lots of fun activities and meet their living history characters.

Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt with a mining twist. You can pick up a trail sheet from reception.

Cleckheaton Farmers Market

Take a trip to Cleckheaton Farmers Market and you can buy fresh, nutritious, good quality food direct from the person who produces it.

The market is normally held on the first Saturday of the month.

Dirty Dancing vs Grease: Tribute Night – in aid of Kirkwood Hospice

Join Kirkwood Hospice on Saturday 6th April as they take you on an unforgettable musical journey at their Dirty Dancing vs Grease Tribute Night.

In a breathtaking tribute, the brilliantly talented duo will take you to revisit two iconic cinema blockbusters – Grease and Dirty Dancing in a show that will have you on your feet all night long.

This show has it all! With stunning vocals, high energy dance routines, audience participation and costumes changes, expect a fun night out where we’re sure you’ll have ‘the time of your life’!

Dance the night away to your favourite tunes from the films’ eras as our DJ keeps the party going until late.

Tickets for this event are just £21.95 per person and include a delicious pie and pea supper.

Doors will open for 7:30pm with the acts starting at 8pm.

Please note that access to the venue is via a small staircase, and that there is no lift access available.

On-street parking and a nearby car park are available close to the venue.

Bacon Butty Day at Beaumont Park

Come and enjoy a lovely bacon/sausage or egg sandwich with tomato, black pudding, brie or mushrooms with a drink of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, latte or cappuccino and if you still have room how about a nice slice of homemade cake to follow.
They also have vegetarian sausages and gluten free baps available.
