Holmfirth Film Festival presents, BADLANDS
Celebrate the release of the Festival brochure with a free screening.
Some critics regard this as the finest directorial debut since Citizen Kane. This poetic, gorgeous looking but disturbing road movie is based on the Starkweather-Fugate killing spree of the late fifties. Re-released and remastered, with a brilliant soundtrack, it stars Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek in their first film, and cult actor Warren Oates.
The film and brochure will be introduced by the Festival Director.
