The Little Mermaid Pantomime at Cannon Hall Farm

Join TaleGate Theatre Productions under the sea for this bubbly pantomime that’s guaranteed to be full of fun, laughs and dancing.

Follow Lenor, a mermaid princess as she finds her sea legs in search of her happily ever after.

This fast paced, highly entertaining pantomime featuring pop songs, magic and puppets and is guaranteed to make a splash.

When is it?

The pantomime will run at 11am, 1pm and 3.30pm on May 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12 only.

On the fringe of Kirklees the Farm is not far from Bretton Park and Clayton West.

All the performances are family friendly with relaxed seating – and refreshments are served during the interval.

All pantomime tickets include full day farm admission, regardless of your session start time.

Mining Museum Steam Rally

This bank holiday weekend, it’s full steam ahead at the National Coal Mining Museum as they host their very own Steam Rally! You can experience what happens when they power up a variety of steam locomotives and vintage wagons of all different shapes and sizes, all for free!

Print Day in May 2019 – open day at West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Mirfield

Experience the whole building in action at West Yorkshire Print Workshop and have a go at printmaking with drop-in activities, demos and Artists’ open studios.

West Yorkshire Print Workshop welcome everyone to experience their whole building in action and have a go at making a print, with drop-in workshops, family activities, artists’ open studios, hot drinks and cake.

It is also a great opportunity to have a good look around their ‘Human Figure’ exhibition and browse their shop which showcases work by WYPW members and local printmakers.

Yellow Goose Dance 9 – A Foxy Trot

Yellow Goose Dance returns for another fun-packed evening of live music and dance. Same brilliant 10 piece band, same magnificent dance teacher, same magic and mayhem on the dance floor. To add to the repertoire, this time they will be teaching an American Social Foxtrot, Charleston, and of course some funky as funk Latin grooves.

  • As an ex resident of Cleckheaton I thought it might be good to visit the Cleckheaton Farmers Market you advertise only to find it’s nowhere near Cleckheaton but in Huddersfield. How very disappointing for all concerned in Cleckheaton. Huddersfield is still getting the best of everything it seems.
