Cleckheaton Folk Festival 2019
Join in the fun at our family friendly festival in the heart of West Yorkshire. Lots to see and do for the young and the young at heart. Concerts, Musicians Sessions, Ceilidh, Parade, Street Entertainment and lots, lots more. A full weekend of Family Fun with some superb music.

Holmfirth Duck Race 2019
The Holmfirth Duck Race is a charity event involving the pouring of many plastic ducks (not real ones, we need to stress this!) into the river alongside the Sands recreation ground in sunny Holmfirth. Money raised goes to local charities and good causes in your area. Enjoy the great British summertime and give us a quack!
Tickets to buy a duck will be £2 and the prizes are:
1st £1000 / 2nd £500/ 3rd £250
When is it?
Sunday 7th July at 11:00am–4:00pm

Holmfirth Artweek
One of the UK’s Largest Open Art Exhibitions, featuring over 400 exhibitors and over 2,000 artworks, plus dozens of fringe venues across the local area with thousands more works of art and craft.
Holmfirth Artweek is a local event with a national reputation. The majority of the exhibitors are from this area but large numbers of visitors come from all over the country to view and to buy. It is astounding how much artistic talent there is locally and it is this that makes the event such a success every year.
As Holmfirth Artweek is a fundraising event, all work submitted must be for sale. A commission of 20% is charged on sales in the Exhibition, the Market & the Fringe with all proceeds being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

- Sun 7 July: 10:00am – 5:00pm
- Mon 8 – Fri 12 July: 10:00am – 9:00pm
- Sat 13 July: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Where is it at?
The main exhibition takes place at Holmfirth Civic Hall, with additional Fringe venues dotted around the Holme Valley and Colne Valley area. There is plenty of parking in the Co-op car park directly across the road from the hall.

The Yorkshire Wartime Experience 2019
Over 500 Military Vehicles and over 50 Living History Re-enactment Groups – The Yorkshire Wartime Experience is an explosive action and fun packed day out for all the family.
When is it?
- Friday 5 July 2019 – 10:00am – 5:00pm- Friday has minimal entertainment content so entry fee is reduced to 1/2 price.
- Saturday 6 July 2019 – 10:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday 7 July 2019 – 10:00am – 5:00pm

Cleckheaton Farmers Market
Take a trip to Cleckheaton Farmers Market and you can buy fresh, nutritious, good quality food direct from the person who produces it.
The market is normally held on the first Saturday of the month.
