Applications need to be made for children who are currently in primary school Year 6. The deadline for an on-time application is Thursday 31 October.
How many schools should you apply for?
Parents are strongly advised to apply for three schools: a first, a second and a third preference. This is in case a place is not available at the first preference school, while it is also advised that one of these schools is in your priority admission (catchment) area.
What will happen if you send in your application after the deadline?
Applications received after the deadline are not considered until after all on-time applications have been processed. So applying late can severely reduce the chances of getting a place at one of your preferred schools.
