Museum of Curiosities Open Day (Holme Valley Sharing Memories)
Dare you enter the fabulous Museum of Curiosities – Open for 1 day only!
The Museum of Curiosities Open day at The Tech Building in Holmfirth on Saturday 1st February is a celebration at the end of the current Sharing Memories 15 week project.
It’s a fun day full of things to see and do. Cabinets of handcrafted curiosities, expand your imagination & witness the Secret Life of Sheep, listen to the marvelous Soul Choir, Valley Beats & the Cafe Orchestra, performing specially written compositions full of memories.
Activities for the young include the Children’s Art School workshop where they too can come and make some curiosities.
Also if you have memories of the Tech Building from days gone by, please do come along, sit & have a cuppa, regale us with them & we will record them for posterity…

Guided tour of Bagshaw Museum
Not sure what to do this Sunday? Why not join Bagshaw’s volunteer guides for a fascinating guided tour of the stunning Victorian Gothic building, featuring the history of the Sheard family, Walter Bagshaw the first curator and Wilton Park. Tours last approximately 40 minutes and are family-friendly.
