Zog (musical for all ages)

Poetry in Greenhead Park
As 2020 is a Leap Year, we get an extra day at the end of the month. Why not spend some of it a free Poetry in the Park readaround in the Greenhead Park pavilion by the bowling greens. This friendly and informal session is open to all poets and poetry lovers – just bring along two or three short poems you’d like to read, your own or by someone else. There’s no set topic, but something seasonal is always nice.

Crooners
Packed with personality and humour, Crooners brings all your much-loved, Big Band hits to the stage, with a very unique and quintessentially British twist on the genre. Dance To The Music
Dance To The Music is a sumptuously beautiful, glamorous dance show created, directed, choreographed and starring ex Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff.
Kristina is excited to tour the show with even more fabulous costumes, stunning vocals and a breath taking choreography. Hosted by heartthrob Jake Quickenden who first found fame with on the X Factor, I’m A Celebrity and Dancing On Ice and an exciting troupe of dancers featuring South African Dancing With The Stars professionals, Marcella Solimeo & Dylon Daniels, this promises to be an evening not to be missed.

Yorkshire Brass Band Championships 2020
Yorkshire’s premier brass band competition. A qualifying contest for the finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain with sixty bands competing across five sections. The winner and runner-up from each section will represent Yorkshire at the finals.
The finest bands in Britain such as Black Dyke, Brighouse and Rastrick, Grimethorpe Colliery and Carlton Main Frickley compete in the Championship Section. Closely fought competition and unforgettable musical performances guaranteed.
