Business Resilience Survey launched to understand the impact of Covid-19 in Kirklees
Businesses across Kirklees are being asked to complete a business resilience survey to identify the support they need to recover and build resilience beyond the Covid-19 crisis. The results will help our business team, and other regional business support organisations, understand the impact of Covid-19 across the District and provide support where it is needed the most.
Cllr Shabir Pandor, Leader of Kirklees Council, said:
“I know that this is an extremely challenging time for many of our local businesses and I’m determined that we will do everything we can to support them through and beyond this crisis.
“The Kirklees Business Resilience Survey will provide a valuable picture of how Coronavirus is impacting the day-to-day operations of businesses in our District and how it may continue to do so in the future. This information will help us, as well as regional organisations such as the Federation of Small Businesses, the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and the Calderdale and Kirklees Manufacturing Alliance, understand how we can best support local businesses to recover and thrive.
”This survey will also feed into our wider economic recovery plan for Kirklees. We are working with public, private and voluntary sector partners to develop a robust plan that will support business resilience and growth, help people back into work and ensure future investment by the Council and our partners supports the recovery.”
When will the survey close?
The survey will be open until Friday 26 June and a summary of the results will be published on our website. Businesses will also be asked if they would like to sign up for further communication from Kirklees Council business team to make sure they get immediate access to support services and information.
