Cervical Screening Awareness Week 15th – 21st June 2020

Cervical Screening Awareness Week takes place this week (15-21 June) we’re supporting Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to ensure that everyone with concerns or questions about cervical screening knows where to get answers and support.
Coronavirus has changed many things, including cervical screening and we are aware you may be feeling confused and wondering what’s happening at the moment
What’s happening during Cervical Screening Awareness Week?
Five million women are invited for cervical screening every year in the UK but over the last few months many tests have been postponed and invitations paused. We also know that cervical screening isn’t always easy and coronavirus might have made it more complicated. During Cervical Screening Awareness Week we’re going to be helping make sense of the changes.
We’ll have new information, videos and resources explaining what is happening across the UK and helping answer your questions.
Throughout the week of 15th – 21st June 2020 Jo’s Trust will be helping you to understand what is happening at the moment with cervical screening, so if you have had your cervical screening delayed or cancelled, are worried about attending or don’t know what to expect Jo’s Trust want to help you understand what’s going on.
