Library Adventures Live! Week 6

For this week’s adventure we joined Olivia and Rappaman, AKA Donavan Christopher for a fun-filled session of poetry, rap and rhyming!

This week’s competition starts with a word… Knowledge.

How many words can you find in ‘KNOWLEDGE’?

We’ll give you an easy one, how about ‘KNOW’… Once you’ve found a word, see how many other words you can think of that rhyme with it, for example:

• Know
• Snow
• Throw
• Sew

How many words can you find and rhyme from the word ‘KNOWLEDGE?

Once you’ve got all of your rhyming words, see if you can make a poem about knowledge and what it means to you.

If you want to make it longer, then add in words like ‘education’ or ‘think’.

There will be three winners, all entries must be submitted before 30^th September for a chance to win one of Rappaman’s books!

Send entries in to LAL@kirklees.gov.uk before 30 September 2020.

In the email, include the name of the participant, their age, and your permission to use on Kirklees Libraries website and our social media channels, if you are happy for us to do so.
