Library Adventures Live! Week 9 Challenge
This week for Library Adventures Live! we got creative with local artist Tasneem Kausar. Each collage will be completely unique, so we are looking forward to see what you all create!
You may have met Tasneem before, she is a fantastic local artist who does workshops to help the people of Kirklees release their inner creativity and enjoy art. Find out more about Tasneem.
Get Involved
If you or your kids like arts and crafts, you will love this session from Tasneem! If you missed the live session, you can watch it now on YouTube.
Here’s what you’ll need to take part:
- A4 card x 2
- A4 paper x 2
- A magazine to cut up (preferably one with images of faces)
- Glue stick & scissors
- Coloured pencils
- Pencil/sharpener/eraser
- Black pen
Submit your collage portraits before the 23rd October, we will showcase your artwork on our social media pages and on our website, there will also be a few lucky winners!
Collages are a great way to express yourself, because you can use the patterns and colours you like more to create a unique piece of art. We can’t wait to see what you all make.
